DESCRIPTION:Disagree with the latest price hikes of your local store? Then
this talk is for you! \n\nAs price labels\, commonly called electronic she
lf labels (ESL tags)\, play a major role in store architecture\, they incr
ease the potential attack surface and attract attention from adversaries.
To understand how these products work\, we examined Android apps\, web-bas
ed management software\, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)\, and 2.4 GHz traffic\
, as well as their hardware components. In the process\, we identified arc
hitectural and implementation weaknesses across every part of the ESL infr
 astructure.
